Transatlantic Partnership Program
<p>The Public Diplomacy Section at the U.S. Mission to Germany invites proposals under its Partnership Program to strengthen the transatlantic relationship. As the United States marks its 250th anniversary (Freedom 250), the program supports forward-looking initiatives that highlight the enduring U.S.-German partnership and democratic principles.The program seeks innovative projects that deepen mutual understanding, foster collaboration, and engage German audiences in meaningful dialogue with the United States. Proposals are encouraged in key areas of cooperation, including sports, science, and space; countering anti-Semitism and supporting freedom of speech; and measuring the long-term impact of exchange programs.Science and technology initiatives may showcase joint innovation, research, and exploration. Sports diplomacy projects can leverage major events to promote leadership, teamwork, and shared goals. Projects addressing anti-Semitism and freedom of expression should combat hate, protect free speech, and strengthen open dialogue and institutional resilience. Proposals evaluating exchange programs and sister city partnerships are encouraged to demonstrate lasting impact.All projects must include strong U.S. components, clearly defined German target audiences, and a strategic implementation plan. Liberty Under Law: The Shared Anglo-American Tradition
<p><span style="color: black;">The U.S. Department of State invites eligible organizations to submit proposals for innovative, high-visibility public education and civic-engagement programs in the United Kingdom that deepen public understanding of the shared Anglo-American common law tradition, and/or to commemorate the 70th anniversary in 2027 of the American Bar Association’s unveiling of the Magna Carta Memorial in Runnymede, UK that honors the foundation of the rule of law. Priority will be given to ambitious initiatives that connect foundational principles, such as freedom of speech, due process, trial by jury, limited government, rule of law, property rights, taxation by consent, and ordered liberty to contemporary civic life.</span></p>

Syria Annual Program Statement
<p>The Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs’ Office of Assistance Coordination of the U.S. Department of State announces an open competition for organizations to submit a statement of interest (SOI) for innovative foreign assistance programs benefiting partner countries that also advance U.S. commercial diplomacy and put American interests first. SOI must demonstrate how projects will leverage foreign assistance for U.S. partners as a tool of statecraft to advance U.S. economic, security, and diplomatic objectives. Programming should promote trade, not aid, by leveraging assistance resources to champion American enterprise and infrastructure and catalyze private capital through market principles. SOI may address foreign assistance programs for partner countries in sectors including: energy, digital connectivity, emerging technologies (particularly AI and telecommunications), 5G infrastructure, agriculture, regional economic integration, advanced manufacturing, workforce training aligned with U.S. business needs, transitional justice, and economic recovery in conflict-affected areas. Projects should orient implementing partners toward the American business community, and foster burden-sharing. Review country-specific guidance in the sections below and tailor your SOI to address identified priorities. NEA/AC may decide to grant multiple awards, one award, or no awards, subject to funding availability and proposal viability.</p>

Fiscal Year 2024 Flood Mitigation Assistance Swift Current
<p>FY 2024 FMA Swift Current aims to better align the delivery of FMA flood mitigation funding to the disaster survivor experience. The FMA grant program makes federal funds available to states, U.S. territories, federally recognized Indian/Native American Tribal Governments, and local governments to reduce or eliminate the risk of repetitive flood damage to buildings and structures insured under the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP), and within NFIP-participating communities. FMA funds a variety of flood mitigation activities that are designed to reduce flood risk to NFIP policyholders in an effort to reduce the NFIP’s financial exposure. </p><p><br></p><p>Applicants can submit applications for this funding opportunity through FEMA Grants Outcomes (GO). Notice of Intent: Program to End Modern Slavery FY 2022
Note: This is a Notice of Intent. An announcement is not related to this notice. The U.S. State Department’ s Office to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons (TIP Office) is not accepting applications at this time. Please review the attached notice for full details. Background: The goal of the Program to End Modern Slavery (PEMS) is to measurably and substantially reduce the prevalence of human trafficking in targeted populations in partner countries and jurisdictions through innovative interventions driven by research, monitoring, evaluation, and learning, and the expansion of partnerships. PEMS-funded efforts conduct scientifically rigorous research to establish evidence on the effects of anti-trafficking programs on the reduction of the prevalence of human trafficking through the advancement of sound prevalence measurement methodologies, strong monitoring and evaluation practices, evidence-based programming, and the application of victim-centered and trauma-informed approaches. The U.S. Congress has appropriated $25 million annually since Fiscal Year (FY) 2016 for PEMS, totaling $150 million to date. The TIP Office is interested in funding research and implementation projects focused on five priority areas as they relate to human trafficking: • Supply Chains • Climate Change and Displacement • Public Health • Financial Inclusion • Sex Trafficking PEMS encourages the use of partnerships with governments, academia, civil society, the private sector, other funders, and international organizations to advance the goals of the program and improve collaboration on the reduction of the prevalence of human trafficking. The TIP Office anticipates that a Statement of Interest (SOI) will be released within the next couple of months on SAMS-Domestic and grants.gov followed by a Notification of Funding Opportunity (NOFO).
